OREM, Utah – The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Utah Valley on the road Monday night. The Owls will be back in action on Saturday against St. Thomas in the home opener at FAU Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
HOW IT WAS DECIDED
- Utah Valley came out aggressive early, scoring four goals in the first half.
- The FAU defense tightened up in the second half of play to hold the Wolverines scoreless for the remainder of the game.
OF NOTE
- Hagay Jalon played all 90 minutes in-net for the Owls and recorded six saves for the second-straight game.
- Newcomers Alex Alexis and Gonzala Pena Barrasus each had three shots in the match.
- Alvaro Rodriguez added two shots for the Owls' offense.
- Utah Valley edged FAU in shots, 11-10.
