The Florida Atlantic University's football team returned to the field with day one of classes under their belts and the final days of preseason coming to an end prior to game week install.Â
Comments from Head Coach Lane KiffinÂ
"That (today's practice) would probably qualify as really the last camp practice as far as before preparation. Specifically, like a normal day. Tomorrow (Wednesday) would be an Oklahoma Tuesday. So, get our guys used to that format. Introduce some stuff for the opening game and have a couple of days of that and then have a mock game so that we can really master situations. Get guys used to - the main guys all on the same sideline like a game, adjustments and all things that happen in a game. I do not have roster movement information for you. We thought about that post-scrimmage, but really since today was another camp practice, take another day of evaluation and then maybe make some changes or some reps in some different directions. Tomorrow as we get more into game planning. Today was no different than the rest of camp as far as rotations and reps." Â
