Football’s Singletary Named to CFA Preseason Dream Team

BOCA RATON, Fla. – College Football America released their Preseason Dream Team on Thursday, including Florida Atlantic University junior running back Devin Singletary on the squad.

CFA's version of a major college All-American team is made up of a starting lineup, second team, reserves and more, for an 85-man roster. Singletary is one of the two "second string" running backs, in other words, a CFA Second Team All-American.

This honor comes on the heels of the Deerfield Beach, Florida, native being named Conference USA Preseason Offensive Player of the Year earlier this month, and to three national watch lists: Maxwell, Doak Walker and Walter Camp.

The Owls open up the season in less than a month, on Sept. 1, on the road against Oklahoma. The Sooners were voted No. 5 in the preseason Amway Coaches Poll, released Friday.
