Football Nearly to End of Preseason Camp, Media Day Set

An uninterrupted practice was completed by the Florida Atlantic University Owls on Wednesday as the Owls moved through one of their last days of preseason camp, and 2018 Media Day is set to take place this Sunday, Aug. 19.

Media Day will begin at 1 p.m. with Head Coach Lane Kiffin. Coach Kiffin will be followed by both the offensive and defensive coordinators and then selected offensive and defensive players will take center stage at 1:45 a.m. Only media members will be allowed to attend.

Fans attending the 2018 Meet and Greet will be treated to an autograph session on the FAU Stadium Hyundai Deck, second floor, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Activities include face painting, games, and the autograph session with the Owls.

FAU will open its 2018 season at Oklahoma on Saturday, Sept. 1. FAU's home schedule will open the following week when the Owls play host to Air Force. For season tickets, call 1-866-FAU-OWLS. All games will be carried by ESPN West Palm 106.3 and also can be heard on the ESPN App.

The Owls will return to the Tom Oxley Practice Fields at 9 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Selected defensive players and Head Coach Lane Kiffin will be available on Thursday and selected offensive players on Friday. Practices are not open to the general public.
