BOCA RATON, Fla. - In a four-hour, 14-minute contest that saw 129 minutes of weather delays, Ball State University outlasted the Florida Atlantic University football team 31-27.

Turning Point

FAU (1-3) did not trail for the first 48:13 of the game before Ball State (3-1) crafted the longest drive of the second half and scored a rushing touchdown to take the final 31-27 lead.
