MIAMI, Fla. â€" A two-out single in the bottom of the eighth led FIU to a 4-3 Conference USA win over the No. 17 Florida Atlantic University baseball team on Saturday night.

A lead-of double by Puerta, followed by Labsan's fourth home run of the season, knotted the contest at 3-3.
Both teams put runners on third over the next three innings, but neither C-USA squad could capitalize.
