Bio
2019Â (Senior)
- Wrapped his career with 12 appearances for a total of 65 in four seasons
- Sported a 3-1 record with 25 strikeouts against just seven walks
- On Senior Day, threw 5 1/3 innings of four-hit, one-run baseball with a career-high eight strikeouts to earn the win over Middle Tennessee
- Followed that up at the C-USA Championship with another tremendous relief outing of six scoreless innings, allowing just a hit and a walk for another victory
- For that performance, was voted to the league's All-Tournament Team
- His final appearance, he picked up three outs in the team's NCAA Regional win over Mercer
2018Â (Junior)
- Emerged as a stopper in the bullpen over the season's last month
- That began when he pitched in two of the three games at Middle Tennessee, going 3 2/3 innings in each, allowing a combined one run with eight strikeoutsÂ
- In the first game, struck out a season-high five, allowing just a solo home run
- Picked up his second win of the year in the latter, with three strikeouts in the scoreless outing
- Was scoreless also against WKU in the opener of the final regular season series, and pitched one-run baseball in 2 1/3 innings in the Conference USA Championship matchup against LA Tech
- Also gave up just a run in the NCAA Regional out of the bullpen, in a win over Columbia
- His only start of the season was the team's s eason finale, allowing a run on two hits in 2 1/3 innings at No. 1 Florida
- Struck out 27 batters in 26 1/3 innings
- His ERA against C-USA opponents was a miniscule 1.59, just two earned runs in 11 1/3 innings
- He struck out 11 and walked just one in those games
- Early in the season, notched his first ever FAU save with a three-inning, three-hit, one-run showing against Seton Hall, with four K's
- The next time out, he earned the win against UNF, with two innings in relief, allowing just an unearned run with three more punchouts
2017 (Sophomore)
- Began the year in the rotation, making four starts, before 11 appearances out of the bullpen
- Had back-to-back starts against Big 10 foes, giving up two runs in six innings vs. Indiana (Feb. 26) and just one run in six innings in a victory against Illinois (March 5)
- Season-high six strikeouts came against Indiana
- Out of the bullpen, struck out 12 batters in 15 1/3 innings, with an opposing batting average of .258
- Seven of those outings, he did not allow an earned run
- Following the year, played for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod League
2016 (Freshman)
- Worked as a middle reliever, posting a 3.09 ERA with a 3-0 record to earn Conference USA All-Freshman honors
- Saw action in 19 games and drew two starts as well
- Combined for one shutout
- Allowed 27 hits in 33.0 innings of work
- Struck out 22 and walked 10
