Softball Ranked 23rd in NFCA Poll

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University softball team is ranked 23rd in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) poll, which was released Tuesday. The Owls won all five of their games last week including a 2-0, eight-inning win over (RV) UCF and are off to their first 3-0 conference start since 2008.

The national ranking is the first for FAU since the 2004 season. The Owls, who are 26-5 on the year, open their C-USA home schedule this weekend against Southern Miss.
