BOCA RATON, Fla. - It is all about the Owls this weekend as the Florida Atlantic Owls travel to Houston, Texas to face the Rice Owls. Both are maturing from the 2015 season, a year in which the two teams were listed among the Nation's youngest. Both have worked through injuries this season. Both are 1-7, and both are looking for their first 2016 Conference USA league win.
The game, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5 at 3:30 p.m., will air on ESPN3. Brett Dolan will have the call, click here http://es.pn/2fcIngk to Watch on ESPN. Fans also may listen to the local call on ESPN West Palm 106.3, the flagship radio station for FAU Athletics. Ken LaVicka and FAU alumnus Kris Bartel will bring you the game, which also can be heard on the ESPN App.

This Thursday, you can catch the ninth installment of Inside the Owls' Burrow which will air at 8 p.m. on Fox Sports Sun. It will re-air at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 on Fox Sports Florida. This week's show will feature Defensive Back Coach Corey Bell and junior linebacker Nate Ozdemir.
Prior to this week's game, you can catch up with the team on Wednesday, Nov. 3 by listening to Florida Atlantic Sports Talk (FAST) on ESPN West Palm 106.3 from 6 to 7 p.m. Ken LaVicka, the voice of Owls' football, will be joined by FAU Head Football Coach Charlie Partridge. Special guests will include: Head Women's Soccer Coach Patrick Baker, who has led the Owls to their second consecutive double-digit win season and will play in the semifinal of the C-USA Championship on Friday, Nov. 4, and Head Men's Basketball Coach Michael Curry, who will guide the team as they open the 2016-17 season in Hawaii next week.
The Owls will travel to Rice Saturday, Nov. 5 to face the Rice Owls.
