BOCA RATON, Fla. â€" Florida Atlantic University senior quarterback Jaquez Johnson has been named to the 2015 Wuerffel Award Watch List, as announced Wednesday.
Johnson, from Starkville, Miss., will return to start his third season under center. The dual-threat quarterback has etched himself in the FAU record books as a player who can take over the game either through the air or with his feet. Formal announcement of the winner will be on December 8 at the National Football Foundation's press conference in New York City.
