Florida Atlantic University football concluded its spring practice on April 5. But, the hard days lie ahead with the summer's focus on academics and conditioning in preparation for the 2014 season, the first under the direction of head coach Charlie Partridge.

Each week throughout the summer, fausports.com will feature a different coach and his unit. First up for the Owls, as expected, is Coach Partridge. The south Florida native highlights his first few months on the job. He also touches on individuals who excelled during the spring.
