Florida Atlantic University football today will begin selling tickets for the 2011 football season in its new 30,000 seat on-campus stadium to groups of 15 or more at a discounted rate.
Tickets will cost $7 per person for groups comprised of 15 or more people, FAU's lowest ticket price available. Groups also will have an opportunity to watch pre-game plays from the sidelines. Individual season tickets, family plans and a mini owl plan also are available for purchase.
The Owls will kick-off their home schedule on Saturday, October 15 against Western Kentucky University while celebrating the opening day of the University's new stadium. The stadium, a $70 million project, is open-air and will feature 6,000 premium seats, including 24 suites, 26 loge boxes, 1,000 premier club seats and 4,000 priority club seats, and the latest, state-of-the-art amenities.
