Track Opens Season at Larry Carnes Indoor Meet

GAINESVILLE, FL - Friederike Feil (mile) and Ashani Roberts (triple jump) finished second in their respective events to highlight Florida Atlantic's track team beginning their indoor season over the weekend.
Feil ran a time of 4:55.81 to place second in the mile, while Roberts 11.70 meters to finish runner-up in the triple jump.
Danielle Aromashodu and Annakay Dennis both ran well in their first collegiate meet, as both recorded good finishes in multiple events. Aromashodu finished 7th in the 55 meter hurdles and 12th in the 400 meters. Dennis finished 10th in the 55 meter dash and 24th in the 200 meter dash.
The Owls travel to New York City this weekend for the New Balance Classic.
