BOCA RATON, Fla. – Senior third baseman
Jesiana Mora joined the Florida Atlantic softball team in 2023, coinciding with Head Coach
Jordan Clark's first season.
As a four-year starter at third base, Mora has more than made her mark with the program, finding herself in the program's top 10 in batting average (second all-time), RBI (second), runs (second) slugging percentage (third), total bases (fourth), doubles (fourth), stolen bases (fourth), hits (fifth), on-base percentage (fifth), and walks (10th).
The all-around player has guided the team to consecutive American Conference championships (2024, 2025) as well as NCAA Regional appearances, while being selected to the all-conference team twice and winning the American's Defensive Player of the Year honor in 2025. She also was named to the NFCA All-Region second team in 2024.
Her success has only continued in 2026, currently leading the Owls with a .393 batting average, 12 doubles, and 35 RBI to go with 48 hits, seven home runs, and 34 runs.
On the latest "Inside The Owls Burrow," host
Frank Forte talks with Coach Clark and Mora about the latter's career.
