BOCA RATON, Fla. – With the 2026 regular season nearing its end, the Florida Atlantic softball team will face Memphis for its final road series beginning Friday, April 24.Friday's first pitch is set for 7 p.m. ET, followed by Saturday at 3 p.m. ET and Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. All three games will be on ESPN+
The Owls (29-17, 10-11) are one game out of the fourth seed in the American standings, which would grant them a bye for the first two rounds of the conference championship. The all-time series versus Memphis (17-33, 5-16) stands at 7-0 in favor of the Owls including a three-game sweep in each of the last two seasons.

FAU picked up a series win at home over Tulsa with a 9-3 victory on April 18 followed by a 5-1 win on April 19. Senior catcher
Chloe Yeatts received a weekly honorable mention recognition from the American Conference after a two-home run performance with five RBI during Saturday's game.
ABOUT THE OWLS
- Head Coach Jordan Clark achieved her 150th win on Sunday, less than four years into her tenure with Florida Atlantic. Clark and her assistants received the American Conference Coaching Staff of the Year recognition in both 2024 and '25.
- The Owls are averaging 8.2 runs per game in their last 24 victories while holding opponents to 1.8.
- As a team, FAU leads the American in runs (273), strikeouts thrown (270), hit-by-pitches (41) and opposing batting average (.241).
- Florida Atlantic ranks No. 13 nationwide in fielding percentage (.978).
- Senior pitcher Autumn Courtney became the program's fifth All-American in May of 2025 after winning the unanimous American Conference Pitcher of the Year honor. In 2026, she has earned two American Pitcher of the Week Awards and currently leads the team with 101 strikeouts and a 2.43 ERA while standing at the top of the conference with 15 victories. Courtney is No. 4 nationally among all active players with 75 career wins. In March, she was named the Palm Beach County Amateur Athlete of the Year.
- Redshirt junior outfielder Kylie Hammonds leads the team in hits (52) and runs (46). Her nine home runs are more than any FAU player had in 2025.
- Senior third baseman Jesiana Mora leads the Owls in batting average (.404), hits (46), RBI (32), while reaching base in 35 out of 40 starts. On Feb. 28 against Coastal Carolina, she tied FAU's single-game record in walks with four.
- In the last 16 games, redshirt junior outfielder Ciara Gibson is batting .409 with 18 hits, 12 runs, six homers and 17 RBI. She drove in at least one run in 10 straight appearances.
- Sophomore Lily Holtje has earned both an American Player of the Week and two Honorable Mention recognitions. She leads the Owls in walks (25) and is second in RBI (29).
- In 93 at-bats, sophomore outfielder Bella Foran has struck out just three times. She is batting .376, third on the team.
- Graduate pitcher Ainsley Lambert is No. 3 in the nation with six saves and is the career leader among all active Division I players with 28.
ABOUT THE TIGERS
- Head Coach Treana Prater is in her second season at the helm of the program.
- Sophomore infielder Faith Brown leads the team in home runs (eight) and RBI (36).
- Freshman pitcher Avery Stutts is the reigning American Pitcher of the Week after recording a 1.56 ERA and a save as the Tigers won their North Texas series.
- Memphis leads the conference with 62 stolen bases.
- Florida Atlantic leads the all-time series over the Tigers 7-0, including sweeps in the two season series as members of the American Conference.
UP NEXT
The Owls will host UAB on Joan Joyce Field at FAU Softball Stadium to finish the regular season. The three-game series begins on Thursday, April 30 at 6 p.m. and will conclude on Saturday, May 2 at noon for Senior Day.
