Meet Senior Derek King

I'm looking forward to 2011. My career began at a Division I-AA school even though my dream was to play for an FBS school. After one season of college football, I decided to live the dream. I transferred and fulfilled the mandatory year of residence. I miss the family, but love the weather. The first year was tough because I new I could contribute. Last year any regret I may have had disappeared when I had that first solo tackle, inside the 20 setting up the defense with great field position.
This year, I hope to see more time at linebacker. The base defense provides me a better opportunity to earn a spot.

Last summer I accepted an internship with ESPN.
