BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's football team hit the practice field Thursday, for the final time of 2010, in preparation for Saturday's, 2 p.m. match-up versus Troy University at Lockhart Stadium. The game will also air on ESPNU and will be the final game for the 2010 seniors.
Prior to practice, Phil Steele's Magazine released its 2010 post-season All-SBC Team. FAU members honored included Lester Jean, first team wide receiver, Alfred Morris as a second-team running back, Rob Housler, second-team tight end, and Travis Jones as a third team punt returner. On the defensive side of the ball, senior Michael Lockley earned first team honors as did punter Mickey Groody. Defensive backs Tarvoris Hill and Marcus Bartels earned second-team honors while Malik Eugene earned third team honors at linebacker.
The Owls will hold their final walk-through on Friday and will play host to Troy 2 p.m. Saturday while the men's basketball team will play host to USF 8 p.m. Saturday night in the FAU Arena.

Coach's Breakfast. Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger and members of his staff will host the Coach's Breakfast where they will introduce members of the team and run through the team's game plan. The Boca Raton Mattera Foundation, founded by John Mattera, is the 2010 Football Coach's Breakfast sponsor.
The breakfast directly correlates to the Mattera Foundation's mission, which is to strengthen the community through bringing good people and good causes together to help ensure both the excellent stewardship of donor funds and the wise investment of grants in the community that the Materra serves.
The breakfast is free of charge and is open to all FAU faculty and staff, as well as FAU Owl Club members.
