BOCA RATON, FL - It was an early day for Florida Atlantic University's football team which was gathered together and dismissed after two hours on the field.
Wednesday's practice began with kick and kick coverage and then moved into individual work followed by working on the running game, both offensively and defensively.
Nexon Dorvilus had the catch of the day going vertical in the back corner of the end zone for the score.
Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger and ESPN760's Ken LaVicka will host the FAU SportsPage 6-7 p.m. Thursday night at Hooter's of Boca Raton.
The team will return to the Tom Oxley Athletic Fields on Thursday, October 21 at 3:30 p.m. All practices are open and free to the public.

Worth of Note: Saturday's game at 1 p.m. against Arkansas State will be carried on CSS as part of the Sun Belt Network.
A note from College Football Trivia: FAU's football team is 25-15 all-time in games decided by seven points or less. The record is the highest winning percentage of all current FBS teams.
Phil Steele's 2010 Midseason All-SBC Team has been released. FAU first team members included Lester Jean (WR), Rob Housler (TE) and Michael Lockley (LB). Second team members were Alfred Morris (RB), freshman Cory Henry (DE), Malik Eugene (LB), Marcus Bartels (DB) and Mickey Groody (P). Third team selection was Jarvis Givens (DL)
