BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's football team began its traditional game week preparation for the University of South Carolina, today.
The day began with punt and punt coverage where senior punter Keegan Peterson and redshirt sophomore Mickey Groody shared the work. The squad kept a steady pace moving into individual and inside drills before 7-on-7 and team drills.
The team drills featured the one and two offense against the scout defensive unit and the one and two defense against the scout offense. Darian Williams had two nice catches both for would be scores and William Rose made a similar catch for long yardage. Defensively, it was all junior defensive lineman Daniel Joseph who snatched an interception and returned it for a score, only to be met by his teammates in the end zone for a celebration.
