FAU Wednesday Practice Report

The Florida Atlantic University football team practiced in humid conditions at Oxley Field for about 2 hours today.

The offense looked crisp despite the field being soggy from earlier rain showers. Tight end Rob Housler turned on a short pass into a touchdown, aided by several down-field blocks from offensive linemen.

The practice was the second-to-last practice before the ninth annual FAU spring football game being held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 18 at Tom Oxley Field, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton Campus. There will be FAU surplus merchandise on sale, 2009 ticket information available and concessions at the event. The FAU dance team and Owsley the mascot will also make a special appearance. Admission and parking are free.
