Florida Atlantic University's football team went through a spirited practice on Wednesday afternoon in its preparation for Saturday's regular season finale at rival Florida International University.
The Owls stand 4-7 on the season and 4-3 in Sun Belt Conference action began the practice session with kickoff coverage with the special teams unit.
Florida Atlantic then divided into position work before focusing on the Panthers with the scout team. The defense conducted a red zone drill against the scout team.
The team closed out practice with the first string offensive and defensive units battling through a series of plays before handing off to the second string units.
FAU will return to the practice field at 3 p.m. Thursday at the FAU Tom Oxley Center practice fields. All practices are free and open to the public.
