BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's football team used Wednesday as another opportunity to develop the younger players.
Practice began with kick and kick return, the first and second team members then moved into individual work which was followed by the inside drill and team work. The one's and two's then were dismissed and full attention was turned to player development. The younger players went through the paces, for more than an hour, of situational drills.
The Owls will return to the practice field 3:30 p.m. Friday. Practice is free and open to the public.

Coach Schnellenberger will take part in the FAU Sportspage Radio show at the Bru's Room, Thursday, October 8, 2009. ESPN760 is the Flagship station for both the FAU Sportspage and all game day coverage.
FAU at North Texas will be part of the Sun Belt Television Package Florida Atlantic's game at the University of North Texas is schedule to be part of the Sun Belt Conference television package. In the Boca Raton area the game will be carried by Comcast and will be shown on CSS.
Lone Star Alumni
The FAU football team is coming to Texas, giving alumni and fans another chance to cheer our team to victory. FAU will be taking on Sun Belt Conference rival University of North Texas on Saturday, Oct. 17 in Denton, Texas.
A pre-game gathering for FAU alumni and fans is being organized by FAUNAA board member Rick "Smitty" Smith '07 and co-chair of the Lone Star Burrow Alex Sanchez '94. The pre-game "potluck-style" tailgate will begin at 4 p.m. in the parking lot on the north side of Fouts Field. If you plan to participate, RSVP to Rick at rick.smith17@yahoo.com by Wednesday, Oct. 14.
