BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's football team returned to the football field for a full workout in preparation for this Saturday's game at the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
Practice began with punt and punt coverage and moved into individual skills work. The offense then installed the run while the defense practiced inside drills. Seven on seven saw the quarterbacks hit several receivers as well as the backs.
Team drills began with senior Rusty Smith picking up where he left off Saturday, hitting Chris Bonner down the sideline for a big gain.
This week's game will mark the second-consecutive game the Owls have been the University's homecoming opponent. FAU is also undefeated playing Sun Belt members in Louisiana.

Bus Trip to FIU
Owl Club members Jim and Leigh Slowiak are organizing bus transportation to the FAU football game at FIU 7 p.m., December 5. This is an open invitation for any FAU football fan. The price for transportation, and soft drinks or water is just $20. The buses will arrive in plenty of time to enjoy the "Bring Your Own" tailgate extravaganza.
