Softball Hosts Fall Tournament

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University softball team will host a five team field in their fall tournament this weekend.
The 2008 FAU Fall Classic will be held on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19 at the FAU Softball Stadium. Barry University, Lynn University, Indian River Community College and Miami-Dade Community College will make up the rest of field. The Owls went 3-0 over the weekend at Florida International University's fall tournament. FAU defeated FIU, Broward Community College and MDCC by a combined score of 23-1.
"Our pitchers pitched really well over the weekend," said head softball coach Joan Joyce.
