FAU Tuesday Practice Report

The Florida Atlantic University football team held a single practice on Tuesday, as they try to prepare for the opener against Middle Tennessee State and nurse players back to health from the preseason.

Quarterback Sean Clayton got reps with the first team today. He had one sharp moment in practice when he hit Cortez Gent on a go route for a long gain during team drills. The defense had a very good day. Defensive backs Kris Bartels and Rod Huggins, as well as linebacker Andre Clark; all came up with interceptions during team workouts.
