TULSA, OK - Sophomore Olivier Sajous has advanced to the main draw at the Ralph Lauren All-American Tournament being held in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
It is already the best finish in program history at the tournament. Sajous did not have to participate in pre-qualifying for the tournament and was seeded in the 17-24 pool. In his first match on Day Three of the tournament, he defeated Blake Muller of Stanford, 6-0, 6-3. He then beat Florida's Nestor Briceno on Day Four, 6-4, 6-3.
Sajous qualified for the main draw by besting Elon's Damon Gooch 7-5, 6-2. By advancing to the main draw of the tournament, Sajous adds to his impressive resume since his arrival at FAU. His first match in the main draw will be played at noon Thursday when he takes on Arizona State's Juan Rebaza.
