Monday Practice Report

Boca Raton, FL - On Labor Day, Florida Atlantic University football held a rare Monday practice. The session replaced the usual Sunday practice and was the squad's first look at Kansas State.

Before the players took the field, film review of both the Clemson and Kansas State games took place. Practice began with 30 minutes of corrections and was followed by one hour of Kansas State preparation.

The session ended with a scrimmage between first-year players and reserves.

Practice resumes Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Notes:
Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger has announced that Sean Clayton will the be the starting quarterback against Kansas State on Saturday. Rusty Smith will see time in the second quarter.
