Boca Raton, FL - Friday marked the second day of spring practice for the Florida Atlantic University Owls and the final day before the squad puts on the pads and begins contact.
FAU took advantage of a beautiful day to get its full allotment of time which ended with seven-on-seven and then unit drills.
Both quarterbacks Sean Clayton and McKinson Souverain connected with Chad Wilkes and Chris Bonner while Charles Pierre was also credited with a reception.
FAU will be back in action, 11:30 a.m., Saturday, in one of four scheduled Saturday practices but, will be the only weekend practice without a scrimmage. The first scrimmage of the spring will be April 8.
Practices are free and open to the public and are located on the fields behind the Tom Oxley Center.
