BOCA RATON, FL -- The toughest test of the season awaits the Florida Atlantic University football team on Saturday when they travel to # 24 Louisville to battle the Cardinals.
The Owls continued their preparation for Saturday's showdown on Wednesday afternoon at the Tom Oxley Athletic fields. FAU held an intense practice, while implementing its game-plan for the Cardinals.
The Owls offensive front did an excellent job in creating lanes for running backs: DiIvory Edgecomb, Charles Pierre, and Dominick Walker during scrimmage play.
During one-on-one drills, Florida Atlantic quarterbacks Danny Embick and McKinson Souverain completed intermediate passing routes at a high level of consistency.
FAU will be playing its first daytime tilt of the season when they kickoff at noon on Saturday.
Fans in Boca Raton and north through the treasure coast can watch the game on WTCN channel 15. It will also be aired on WBFS UPN 33 for fans living south of the Broward/Palm Beach County line. Those in the Tampa Bay area can watch the game on WFTS 28 and satellite subscribers can tune in on the MSG Network.
The Owls will practice tomorrow at 4 p.m. on the Tom Oxley Athletic fields.
