Stevens Playing Well for River Rats

Florida Atlantic University's Tyler Stevens was named to the Florida Collegiate Summer League All-Star game last week. The second baseman is hitting .388 with five RBI and four stolen bases playing for the Sanford River Rats.

Stevens (West Palm Beach, FL) was a Second-Team Atlantic Sun pick as a sophomore in 2005. He finished the season with a .424 batting average and a .456 on-base percentage.

Going 6-for-6 in the Coral Gables NCAA Regional, Stevens earned All-Regional honors to close out the season as FAU finished with a 37-24 record and its sixth trip to the NCAA Tournament.
