Boca Raton - September 22 is a date to mark the calendar for many reasons with the announcement that the Florida Atlantic University football game versus Louisiana-Monroe has been moved from Saturday, September 24 to Thursday, September 22 and will be aired on ESPNU, as part of the Sun Belt television package.
The game will mark the completion of possibly the most difficult non-conference schedule in the country, including Kansas, Oklahoma State and Minnesota. It will mark the first Sun Belt Conference contest and will be the first nationally televised regular-season contest played at Lockhart Stadium. The first nationally televised regular-season home contest will take place two weeks earlier, when the Owls play host to Oklahoma State at Dolphins Stadium. That contest will be aired on ESPN2 and will also be a Thursday contest.
