BOCA RATON, FL--In preparation for the school's fifth homecoming game, Florida Atlantic University was ironing out its game-plan for Saturday's showdown against Middle Tennessee State.
Owls' defensive linemen Josh Savidge and E.J. Jones were able to create pressure on the quarterback during scrimmage play.
Quarterback Danny Embick threw the ball with great accuracy during seven-on-seven drills.
The Owls (1-5, 1-1) will host the Raiders (1-3, 0-1) for the first time in the last three years. FAU is 2-0 against MTSU with both match-ups being on the road.
After spraining his ankle during Tuesday's practice, wide receiver Thomas Parker was limited on Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Saturday's game.
Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m. from Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. For tickets call 1-866-FAU-OWLS.
