Well let it be known that I was the last one to send in a dugout diary. But since I don't mind doing it it isn't a big deal.
Alot of exciting things have been going on in the past 3 weeks. One of the most exciting is the fact that we set a new Florida record by eating over 200 Papa John's pizzas in a matter of 14 days. Coach........Just Kidding. Whatever food you give us is fine, and lately it doesn't matter what you give us to eat, so keep the pizzas coming. But on a little more of a serious note but not much, baseball has been a blast. We have been having so much fun going out there and pretty much handing it to teams. No disrespect to the other teams because we take every team seriously.
What is even nicer is the fact that we have been winning on the road also. Going 6-0 in our first 6 road games of the year is tremendous. I think the last time I wrote on one of these things we were around 5-4 or something. Well we are now 23-6. Not too shabby.
I want to give a kudos to the 3 parts of this team. First, (only because I happen to be on it) is the pitching staff. Boys, if we go at people like we have there is no one on the rest of the schedule that should give us fits. We are that good. To the hitters, the stat board speaks for itself, but it goes farther than that. Baseball is a patient game. And you guys have been handling yourselves unbelievably. Example: Rutgers - - Brownlie. Self-explanitory. And to the coaching staff, you guys are tremendous, but we have so much farther to go. Just thought I would give every one of you guys a shout out to let you know we respect everyting you guys are doing.
Like I said we have a long way to go, but let keep it going, winning, pitching, hitting, coaching, and have fun. See ya boys, Tim
