Tom Oxley Athletic Center

FAU student-athletes practice, compete, work out, rehabilitate, study, meet, and relax at the Tom Oxley Athletic Center, or what they fondly call "The Ox." Tom Oxley, a local businessman, FAU alum, and avid polo enthusiast, stepped forward with a donation that allowed the athletic center to become a reality in 2001. The 54,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility houses a training room, weight room, meeting rooms, and coaches offices. The Oxley Center also houses individual locker rooms for cross country and track, women's soccer, softball and beach volleyball, and the respective coaches' offices.
