Mandy Prusak came to Florida Atlantic University in April of 2022 as an assistant athletic trainer. Her primary responsibility is the two volleyball programs (indoor and beach).
Prior to coming to Boca Raton, Prusak served as an assistant athletic trainer at East Tennessee State University where she worked with the women’s basketball program as well as men’s and women’s golf.
Prusak joined the ETSU staff after a four-year stint in Tuscaloosa where she spent two years serving as the graduate assistant athletic trainer for the University of Alabama’s women’s volleyball team. She graduated with her master’s degree from The University of Alabama in 2017. Following her graduation, she spent two years working as a certified athletic trainer at Spine and Sport Chiropractic and at local high school sporting events via Encore Rehabilitation.
Prior to moving to Tuscaloosa, Prusak lived in Boone, North Carolina from 2013-15 and served as the certified intern athletic trainer for the Appalachian State women’s volleyball team. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in 2013.
Prusak is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. She is also certified as a National Academy of Sports Medicine Performance Enhancing Specialist, an American Heart Association CPR and AED provider, and a RockTape Blades and Blades Advanced practitioner.
