Andrew DiTullio joined the baseball program in October of 2021 as the team’s volunteer assistant coach.
DiTullio spent the past season as an assistant coach at Harford Community College, where the team was ranked as high as No. 19 in NJCAA Division 1. The Fighting Owls had a collective .300 team batting average and a 1.009 OPS, and would send 11 players to NCAA DI schools.
In addition to aiding the team’s hitting prowess, DiTullio also worked defensively with the outfielders, and off the field with recruiting, class scheduling, admissions, meals and eligibility. He gained extensive knowledge while there of advanced programs such as Hittrax, Rapsodo, Yakkertech, Blast and K-Vest.
During his coaching tenure at the Maryland school, DiTullio also worked as a hitting and pitching instructor at Absolute Sports Performance, again utilizing many of the previously mentioned analytical technology.
DiTullio earned his Bachelor of Science degree in integrated studies from UCF. He served as a student manager for the baseball team while there, and implemented Flightscope ball tracking radar to the program. He previously also worked as a scout for Prospectwire in Orlando; was the co-owner of Line Drive Pro, an Orlando-based travel ball program; and was a coach and the assistant director of travel baseball at Quinco Baseball Academy.
