Andrew Barber joined Florida Atlantic University athletics in August 2019 as a marketing coordinator. He is primarily responsible for overseeing the marketing efforts for women’s basketball and volleyball.

Prior to FAU, Barber served as a marketing and promotions graduate assistant at the University of West Florida. He was in charge of overseeing the marketing strategies and tactics for a number of teams, as well as for the UWF Student Rewards program.

Before his time with the Argonauts, Barber spent a year at the University of Georgia as an athletic promotions assistant. He developed and implemented promotional plans and managed game day production for the equestrian, women’s tennis, track and field and cross country programs.

Following his undergrad, Barber served as an assistant director of marketing and sales intern at Ohio University. He developed a marketing plan for the Bobcat wrestling program, as well as assisted in developing strategies for field hockey and softball.

Barber graduated from the University in Florida in May 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. He is currently working toward acquiring his Master of Business Administration from West Florida.
