BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic softball has hired Mary Haff to serve as the team's pitching coach, announced Head Softball Coach Jordan Clark on Tuesday.

Haff brings seven years of SEC experience to the Owls, including a five-year decorated playing career at Arkansas and most recently two seasons with Missouri as an assistant coach and director of player development.

"Pitching in Paradise will be a literal dream with Mary in the bullpen. She is confident, successful, and extremely knowledgeable about what it takes to be the best in the circle. I am so grateful she wants to continue building on the success we have had in the circle and our pitchers get to be around an SEC Pitcher of the Year, All-American, SEC pitching coach and just an overall amazing person!"
Haff began her coaching career with the Tigers in June of 2023 as a graduate assistant before being promoted to assistant coach/director of player development in 2025.
In 2024, Missouri's pitching staff produced a 2.03 ERA on the way to an NCAA Super Regional appearance.
Haff began her collegiate playing career in 2018, when Coach Clark was with the Razorbacks as a volunteer assistant. She made her mark in the Arkansas record book, becoming the program's all-time leader in wins (97), saves (15), and ERA (1.85). She was named SEC Pitcher of the Year and First-Team All-American in 2021 and led the team to two SEC regular-season championships and its first conference tournament title in '22.
Now tasked with overseeing Owl pitchers, Haff will look to continue success. In Coach Clark's four seasons at FAU, the program has produced two All-American pitchers and three berths on an NFCA All-Region team. The program holds three additional pitching All-American selections.
