Elevated to Assistant Academic Advisor in the fall of 2024 following her graduation
Serves as an instructor for SLS 1412 - “The Learning Community Experience” course for incoming freshmen that integrates academic learning with life experiences and activities
Provides individualized academic and personal support to student-athletes, helping them balance schooling and athletic commitments effectively
In April of 2022 joined Florida Atlantic’s SASC as an Academic Tutor for Student Athletes
Collaborated with student athletes to complete assignments, identify lagging skills, and correct weaknesses to help students master challenging material
Assisted students with writing assignments, exam preparation and other academic tasks while complying with NCAA rules
Managed the teams incoming and outgoing funds, supervised and estimated budget costs for travel, equipment and league fees while handling receipts, disbursements, banking and protection of funds
As a student, served as treasurer for the women’s club lacrosse team

School District of Palm Beach County (Second Stint)

Returned to the School District of Palm Beach County in November of 2023 as an ESOL Reading Teacher
Developed a strong relationship with students, creating a positive learning environment encouraging participation and growth
Enhanced reading comprehension by implementing reading groups and boosted student fluency rates by utilizing effective instructional strategies during small group instruction

At Rubenstein Law

Joined Rubenstein Law as a litigation assistant in August of 2023, helping manage attorney’s calendars and scheduled depositions, mediations, and hearings through CourtMap and CMS
Completed electronic court filings at the state level and prepared and indexed exhibits such as medical records and bills
Sent out correspondence to parties and non-parties via fax, email, regular and certified email

At The School District of Palm Beach County (First Stint)

Elevated to an Interim Assessment Coordinator tasked with overseeing and training personnel on testing procedures and policies as well as collecting teacher feedback and creating and distributing testing schedules
Joined the School District of Palm Beach County as a Community Language Facilitator in August of 2022 with a main focus of providing translation and academic support services for English learners
Assisted ELL and ESE students with transitions into mainstream academic courses while monitoring student progress toward meeting graduation requirements while collaborating with SBT, ESE, and mental health counselors to monitor student progress and carry out disciplinary action

Personal
Education: Earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University in Criminal Justice in May of 2024. Is currently furthering her education with a Master of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from FAU with an expected graduation date of December 2025.
