Prior to FAU, Norton was an Assistant Sport Performance Coach at Bradley University where she worked with volleyball, men's and women's golf and men's and women's tennis. Norton also coordinated team scheduling and programming for 220+ athletes with the program's director. Her stint at Bradley included three months as the Interim Assistant Director of Sport Performance.
Norton was a five-year varsity letter winner at Florida Atlantic in the sport of golf (2006-11). While at FAU, she obtained her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion in May of 2010. She earned her Master's degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion-Strength and Conditioning in May 2012. Making the most of her time at FAU, Norton served as a volunteer strength and conditioning coach from August of 2011-13. She also served as the Assistant Golf Coach from 2012-13 and was an adjunct professor for the Department of Exercise Science in 2013.
