Cox Posts Career-Best Finish in North Carolina

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Sophomore Nancy Cox finished in a tie for third at Tuesday's ECU Pirate Collegiate Classic for a new career-best individual finish. The Owls finished seventh as a team. The tournament hosts, East Carolina, won both the team and individual titles.

Cox posted her third consecutive under-par round with a 71 on Tuesday.
She circled five birdies to bring her tournament total to 15, second-most in the field.
Freshman Tina Genoulaz finished strong with three birdies in her final seven holes to shoot even-par and move into a tie for 30th.

The Owls' next action will be at the Mercer Invitational, November 2-3, in Forsyth, Georgia.
