Tammy Licavoli

At Florida Atlantic

Rejoined the Owls in the summer of 2026 as an assistant cheer coach.
Brought over 25 years of experience to the Owls, a program she has been involved with since 1996, first as a member of the FAU Dance team (1996-00).
Upon graduation, Licavoli served two seasons as an assistant dance coach (2000-02).
She then served as the Owls’ head cheer coach (2001-03).
Licavoli’s stint as a cheer coach coincided with the university starting football, placing her on the sideline for FAU’s inaugural football season.
The 2002 squad, led by Licavoli, recorded an NCA top 10 Division I Large Coed finish, and just one year, later the squad finished second nationally as the NCA Division IA Small Coed National Runner-up.

At the High School Level

Moved to the high school level following the 2013 season where she was recognized as the 2023-24 NFHS Florida Coach of the Year.
That honor opened the flood gates for a high school career that would garner three Palm Beach County Coach of the Year honors.
Led teams to six FHSAA State runner-up titles across large coed, medium coed and small coed divisions as well as two UCA High School National Finalist finishes and one FHSAA State Championship.
The Rochester, New York native coach served as Palm Beach Gardens High School Dance Coach from 2010-11 before shifting to Seminole Ridge High School in 2011 to work with the Cheer team and the All Girl Non Tumbling team, a position she served the following 13 years.
