Spirit Teams Delivered at Nationals

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic spirit teams delivered an outstanding performance at the prestigious NCA & NDA College Nationals, earning multiple top national finishes to mark a historic moment for the program.
The FAU dance team competed among the nation's most elite collegiate programs, securing a top five finish in Division IA Team Performance and a top 10 finish in Division IA Hip Hop. Their performance showcased exceptional athleticism, precision, and competitive excellence on one of the sport's biggest stages.
In addition, the FAU cheer team made program history by competing for the first time in the Advanced All-Girl Division IA. In a standout debut, the team earned an eighth-place national finish, solidifying its place among top-tier collegiate cheer programs.
One of the defining competition highlights came from a collaborative performance featuring the cheer and dance teams alongside FAU's drumline and beloved mascot, Owlsley. Competing in the highly energetic Game Day Division IA, the unified FAU spirit group delivered an electrifying routine, earning a third-place national finish and bronze medal.
"This was a defining moment for our entire spirit program," said FAU spirit leadership. "To see our teams not only compete but excel at this level speaks volumes about the dedication, passion, and pride our student-athletes bring to representing FAU."
