Claudia Soto was named Florida Atlantic University’s Head Cheer and Dance Coach in the summer of 2015. She is a 2006 graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She achieved her Doctorate degree in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in 2013 and is currently a practicing Florida Optometrist.
Prior dance experience includes the following:
1998-01: Member of Atlantic High School Eagle-Ettes & Co.
Jan. 1999: Super Bowl Half-time Show
2001-02: Captain Atlantic High School Eagle-Ettes & Co.
2004-07: Member of FAU Dance Team
2004-05: Second Place at NDA "Open" Competition- FAU Dance
2005-07: Captain of the FAU Dance Team
2010- 15: Assistant Coach FAU Dance Team
2015: Head FAU Cheer and Dance Coach
