Amanda Johnson was named assistant FAU cheerleading coach in July of 2017. She is a former Owls’ cheerleader and team captain, and earned her degree from the school in exercise science and health promotion.
Johnson was a member of All-Star Cheerleading in her hometown of Bradenton, Florida, and was her high school’s team captain. As a junior at FAU, as co-captain, she was a member of the 2016 NCA National Champions
She currently works as a fitness coach at Belfort Fitness Lifestyle and as cheer coach for Cheer Florida All-Stars.
