Richard Sipala joined the FAU Men's Tennis program as an assistant coach in 2017-18.
A native of Quogue, N.Y., Sipala was a First-Team All-Conference singles player and a captain his senior year at Bryant University. After graduation, Sipala moved to New Delhi, India to accept a coaching position at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association. He also coached the players of India's junior Davis Cup team and traveled with them worldwide to various ITF tournaments.
