Named scouting coordinator in December of 2022, under the direction of newly hired Hagerity Family Head Football Coach Tom Herman
Responsible for the development and maintaining of the "Big Board" through ARMS
Was charged with maintaining coach-to-recruit communication both in and out of season
In charge of scouting opponent offenses as well as the presentation to the defensive staff
Created weekly tips and reminders as well as presented weekly updates on prospects
Planned recruiting calls for head coach
Worked with defensive coordinator on gameday charting
Also continued to handle responsibilities held during intern position
Came to FAU in 2020 as an undergraduate student with career goal of working in collegiate football
As a sophomore Beer began working with the football program as a personnel student intern, a position he held until December os 2022
Assisted with high school and junior college prospect player evaluations as well as planning official and unofficial visits
Also worked with the defensive line coach with opponent scouting offensive line reports and the defensive coordinator on gameday through sideline charting
Assisted with planning and executing pregame recruiting events for home games, campus facilities tours, portal monitoring and analytical research projects for the director of player development
