At Miami
Began his service at the University of Miami in August 2023 as the Associate Director of Equipment Operations where he focused his efforts on football and assisted the Director of Equipment Operations on administrative and maintenance tasks relating to equipment and uniforms
At UTSA
Served as the Assistant Athletics Director for Equipment Operations and Head Football Equipment Manager, overseeing budgeting, management, and issuance of athletic equipment for 14 Division I teams
Also served as direct contact for men’s and women’s golf as well as spirit squad coaching staffs
At Tulsa
Prior to UTSA, Fortier was the Director of Equipment Operations, promoted from the Assistant Director of Equipment Operations, at the University of Tulsa where he oversaw equipment operations for 15 Division I teams
Served as direct contact for women’s tennis, women’s golf, men’s and women’s cross country/track & field, and spirit squad coaching staffs
Education
The Palm City, Florida native graduated from Florida Atlantic University in June 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Minor in History. He received a master’s in history from the University of Tulsa in July 2019
Certification
Certified Athletic Equipment Manager and received a certificate in the Fundamentals of Global Sports Management from New York University in May 2020
