At FAU
Lage joined the staff in August of 2010 with the responsibility of defensive tackles. The tackles enjoyed one of the best seasons to date under Lage[apos]s tutelage and he enjoyed a good rotation among four tackles. Three-year starter Dino Cox led the tackles with 29 tackles including 5.0 for a loss. Junior Jarvis Givens and was just three tackles behind at 26. With the move to a 3-4 front, Lage used the spring to begin work with the inside linebackers.
At Midwestern State
Part of a staff that captured the 2009 Lone Star Championship.
At Chowan
Assisted with the classification move from NCAA Division III to Division II.
At Elon
Finished the 1999 season with a 9-2 record and a national top-25 rank.
At Gardner-Webb
Tallied an 8-3 record in 1997 and finished in the nation[apos]s Division II top-20.

Lage served as a graduate assistant at both Wake Forest and Richmond, where he completed his master[apos]s degree. He worked with the linebackers at Wake and with the secondary at Richmond
As a Player Lage was a four-year letterman at Villanova where he played tight end.
