Upcoming Event: Football at FIU on September 13, 2025 at 6 p.m.

Danielle Lyons joined the Owls in the spring of 2017 as a member of the Florida Atlantic football staff. Lyons attention is focused as the Administrative Assistant to Head Football Coach Lane Kiffin as well as assisting the Director of Football Operations with travel logistics and expense reports for the entire football staff. Additionally, she assists the Director of Player Personnel with incoming and current football players. Lyons also is responsible for overseeing the recruiting interns, coordinating schedules, practices and game day and event responsibilities. In January of 2019 her title changed once more to Associate Director of Football Operations.
In September of 2018 she moved to the Football Operations Office as the Assistant Director of Football Operations.
Prior to FAU, Lyons served as a recruiting intern with the University of Michigan football program. She assisted with transcript evaluations, planning and execution of football camps, updated recruits’ profile in databases and secretarial duties for the recruiting administrator. Lyons also spent time with All-American Games (Army All-American Bowl Game) as an eventm manager, and special events coordinator intern, and with the Florida High School Athletic Association as a compliance and eligibility student intern.Â
Lyons graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in recreation, parks tourism: recreation & event management. Currently, she is working on a Master of Business Administration.Â
